  14.  IC-R1 continuously covers 100kHz-1300MHz with AM, FM and Wide-FM
  15.  modes.  Measuring just 1.9"w x 4.0"H x 1.4"D this tiny receiver
  16.  can go anywhere with you.  The size is unbelievable!

  18.       Built-in NiCd Batteries.   Like the famous "S" series hand-
  19.  helds the IC-R1 has built-in NiCd batteries and optional battery
  20.  packs.

  22.       Multi-Function Scanning .  The IC-R1 incorporates a variety
  23.  of scan functions to meet all your needs.  They include:
  24.  programmed scan, memory scan, selected mode memory scan, and auto
